Important Updates to the WI UI Portal regarding Employer access

The purpose of this article is to notify you of an upcoming change to the way employers access their Wisconsin Unemployment accounts.
New Wisconsin UI Employer Portal coming in August!
The new UI Employer Portal will retain existing functionality while incorporating enhanced features employers need to maintain efficiency and flexibility. The UI Employer Portal will be released after the July tax filing deadlines to ensure no disruptions with employers using the system and to give employers additional time to sign up for MyWisconsin ID.
Until the change to MyWisconsin this August, you will continue to log into your UI Employer Account using your existing username and password. The new MyWisconsin ID is the State of Wisconsin's way to securely access state services using a single user ID and password. All Wisconsin employers will need a MyWisconsin ID account to access your employer account once the new platform goes live in August.
You should take steps now to ensure continued access to your account:
- Create your MyWisconsin ID at https://apps.wisconsin.gov.
- Verify your email address.
- Set up your multi-factor authentication method.
