Adding New Values to the Organization Table
How to add or edit Organization Values in isolved
New organizational values can be created, and existing organizational values can be managed from the Organization Table in isolved.
This can be found under Client Management -> Tables -> Organization Table:
1. Identify Organization field to update
Once on the Organization Table page, there are two tables:
- The table containing the Title value
- The table containing the Code and Description
2. Select the Organization Title you would like to add to or edit
Once selected, you will see the values for that table to the right of the screen:
3. Add a new Organization value to the table
To create a new Organization value, click Add New:
Enter the new Code and Description:
Note: Be sure the Organization Code entered is accurate. You will not be able to make any edits to the Organization Code once payroll is run with an employee using this organizational value.
Click Save and the new Code and Description should appear in the updated table:
4. Edit existing Organization value
Note: Keep in mind, the Organization Code can be edited only if no employees assigned with this organization value have been processed for payroll.
Find and select the Organization value and click Edit:
Make any necessary changes and click Save.
*5. GL Code and Description Overrides
Note: This should only be done if you are certain of the GL Report configuration. If you have any questions on GL Reporting, please contact support@employdrive.com before making any changes.
